Job Overview

Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Assembly Leads, the Mechanical Assembler is responsible for the assembly of components and machinery utilizing physical strength along with a variety of hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble machine components and parts using various hand and power tools.
- Interpret mechanical blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and verification of details.
- Report any issues to the Lead or Supervisor promptly.
- Assemble machinery with minimal supervision.
- Input job data into the Made2Manage (M2M) and traveler systems.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while handling equipment and machinery.
- Differentiate between various parts and their specifications.
- Meet project deadlines consistently.

Additional Responsibilities
- Transport parts and components to different departments as required.
- Engage in welding tasks as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience as an Assembler I in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools.
- Welding experience in TIG and MIG is advantageous.
- Ability to work with minimal guidance during machine assembly.
- Knowledge of safety procedures is essential.
- Effective organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and sound judgment.

Compensation
$22/hr - $25/hr
