Key Responsibilities- Administer nursing care to designated residents under the direction of a Registered Nurse, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and care.
- Perform a variety of direct and indirect resident care duties in accordance with the needs of the age population served, as defined in the facility's scope of service.
- Conduct thorough nursing assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide ongoing monitoring and evaluation of patient progress.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide educational groups to residents, ensuring a high level of patient engagement and understanding.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care, consult with practitioners, and respond to crises as needed.
- Supervise activities of the facility when professional staff is not on duty, ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including completing documentation, vital signs, and medication administration records.
- One year of experience as an LPN, preferably in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.
- Current Louisiana LPN licensure.
