Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Store Operations Coordinator to join our team at HomeGoods. As a key member of our frontline team, you will be responsible for promoting a highly satisfied customer experience while driving customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a highly satisfied customer experience through excellent customer service and product knowledge.
  • Drive customer loyalty through programs and initiatives that enhance the customer shopping experience.
  • Address customer concerns and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Train and mentor all associates on policies and procedures to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Provide recognition and constructive feedback to associates to improve performance.
  • Maintain and monitor cash controls, including change funds, to ensure accuracy and security.
  • Adhere to all labor laws and meal and break period policies to ensure a fair and safe work environment.
  • Assign registers and coordinate breaks to ensure optimal coverage at the frontline and sales floor.
  • Audit and approve paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain cleanliness, recovery, and organizational standards throughout the frontline to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Monitor all frontline equipment and communicate issues to management to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Execute and adhere to company directives to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Maintain and uphold merchandising standards within the queue line to ensure a visually appealing shopping experience.
  • Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention policies and procedures to ensure a secure and efficient operation.
  • Ensure proper and timely handling of damages and mark out of stock to minimize losses.
  • Promote a safe environment and report any safety hazards to management to ensure a safe work environment.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent degree preferred.
  • Available to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Able to work as a team member and provide excellent customer service.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to lift heavy merchandise with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Able to train and provide direction to others.
  • Able to run a register and handle money accurately.
  • Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience as a coordinator or previous retail/supervisory experience preferred.

This position has a starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
