At Mutual of Omaha, we're committed to helping you achieve greatness. As a Financial Representative Trainee, you'll embark on a comprehensive program designed to equip you with the skills and competencies necessary to excel in selling Individual Insurance products.

What You'll Do:

  • Participate in a structured curriculum that includes self-study and hands-on-experience projects.
  • Demonstrate your skills and pass a sales process competency test.
  • Gain direct sales experience in marketing Individual Insurance products to clients.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with internal business partners and acquire in-depth knowledge of our product offerings.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly wage of $16/hour for up to 30 days.
  • Promotion to a Financial Representative with a $36,000 annual base plus monthly sales incentive opportunity after successful completion of licensing and onboarding requirements.
  • An education-based Accelerator Program designed to transition you into an independent Financial Advisor.
  • Benefits and Perks, including a 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, including 2 floating holidays that can be used at your discretion.

What You'll Bring:

  • A strong ability to achieve the criteria of the Trainee Program.
  • The ability to pass and apply for appropriate insurance licenses within 14 days of entry into the job.
  • A highly self-motivated and results-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • The ability to travel up to 50% of the work period and hold a valid U.S. driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the Insurance/Financial Services industry, products, and marketing practices.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
