Job Summary

The Structural Fitter plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process of Whirlwind Steel Buildings, Inc.'s products. This position requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work with metal components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
  • Align and assemble metal components using various tools and equipment
  • Measure and cut metal components to precise specifications
  • Tack weld pieces together and remove high spots using grinders
  • Inspect and ensure that completed work meets company specifications
  • May perform repairs and serve as a problem-solving resource to others
  • Complete all required records and operate overhead cranes

Requirements
