We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board Certified Pediatrician to join our team in the Emergency Department at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. As a key member of our pediatric primary care office, you will provide exceptional patient care to children from birth to 18 years old, diagnosing and treating various conditions, and counseling on vaccines.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to a panel of patients in the practice, including evaluating, treating, and managing sick and well patients.
- Document medical findings in EPIC and provide support to patients, families, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with office administration and nursing staff to ensure high-quality care services.
- Supervise clinical providers, including resident physicians and nurse practitioners, and provide performance feedback.
- Continually review current pediatric standards of care and work with leadership to implement new processes as needed.
- Respond to clinical alerts and updates from public health officials and others.
- Doctorate in Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required.
- Board Certification in Pediatrics required.
- Medical License in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and any states practicing in required.
- DEA License required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
