Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Palo Pinto General Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and planning the nutritional care of our patients, ensuring that quality food service and nutritional care is provided in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, guidelines, and policies.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and plan the nutritional care of patients in accordance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
  • Develop and implement nutrition care plans in collaboration with the Nutritional Services Director.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on nutrition-related topics.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics strongly preferred.
  • License or certification as mandated by the state of Texas. ServSafe Food Safety Certification preferred.


Reporting Structure:

This role reports directly to the Chief Nursing Executive.
