About the Role

MongoDB is seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to join our Cluster-to-Cluster team. As a TPM, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our engineering teams by devising, implementing, and improving processes that enable them to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve processes that span multiple teams and products, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient delivery.
  • Facilitate communication between Technical Program Managers across 30+ teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Recognize patterns in complex information and take action to drive process improvements, expanding knowledge into new domains as needed.
  • Act as a steward for the tools that power our engineering operations, including our wiki, project management software, and retrospective tool.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in an Engineering organization, with a strong background in program/project management, development, or administration.
  • Ability to maintain a strategic view of software engineering processes while executing on everyday development tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Hyper-organized and capable of juggling multiple projects and data sets.
  • Knowledge of agile/Scrum best practices and experience implementing them.
  • Able to appreciate engineering concepts and facilitate discussion to ensure successful delivery.
  • Experience gathering process pain points and devising improvements to address them.
  • Proficiency in project tracking software, such as Jira, Rally, or MS Project.
