Position: Certified Clinical Assistant

Employment Type: Permanent / Direct Hire

Work Environment: Outpatient Clinic

Location: Golden Valley, MN

Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour, commensurate with experience

The Certified Clinical Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Providing front desk support and assisting with prior authorizations
  • Conducting x-ray duties as assigned, contingent upon passing the x-ray operator exam
  • Performing laboratory tests within the clinic
  • Facilitating effective communication between patients and healthcare providers
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) is required
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is mandatory
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant is required
  • Prior experience in a clinical environment is preferred
  • Must have passed the x-ray operator's examination or be willing to take the exam as per clinic requirements
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is necessary
