Key ResponsibilitiesSales
  • Professionally lease rental apartments to maximize income and achieve property occupancy goals.
  • Conduct apartment and community tours with prospective residents.
  • Ensure that the leasing sales process is followed correctly.
  • Follow up on phone and email leads in a timely and consistent manner.
Marketing
  • Complete marketing reports, applications, and leases as needed.
  • Shop the competition regularly by phone and in person.
  • Assist with marketing ideas and complete weekly marketing reports.
  • Implement outreach marketing efforts to gain referrals from area businesses and employers.
Administrative
  • Educate prospective residents on the application process and requirements.
  • Process applications in a timely manner, including verifying the validity of all documents related to the application.
  • Complete credit and background checks on applicants.
  • Inform future residents of their approval status.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Process approved applications promptly, including preparing new leases, scheduling move-in dates, conducting inspections for rent-ready apartments, and collecting all required money for move-in.
  • Assist with office tasks as needed, cover for others' absences, and participate in resident activities and retention efforts.
Requirements
  • Prefer 2+ years of leasing experience in multifamily.
  • Minimum of 1 year of leasing, sales, customer service, and/or administrative experience.
  • PC proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook) and the Internet.
  • Excellent verbal, written, telephone, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with highly confidential information, take initiative, and exercise good judgment.
  • Must be a self-starter, capable of identifying needs and requirements.
  • Ability to identify issues, recommend solutions, and implement resolutions.

Ability to function in a commercial office environment and utilize standard office equipment, including but not limited to: PC, copier, telephone, etc.

H.S. Diploma or GED required. College degree preferred.
