Job Title: Model Bartender Casa Playa

Job Summary:

The Model Bartender Casa Playa is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences by utilizing functional details of a reservation/guest interaction and executing a specific food and beverage game plan to exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests, read and listen to people to determine beverage preferences, make recommendations, and take drink orders.
• Guide guests through all phases of their experience at the bar/lounge.
• Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages to customers.
• Check identification to ensure guests are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
• Take inventory and order supplies to ensure the bar and tables are well-stocked.
• Consistently follow the sequence of service utilizing all proper procedures standardized by the room management.
• Responsible for taking food/beverage orders and carrying out wine/beverage service.
• Responsible for checking on the guest throughout service.
• Complete opening and closing side work.
• Maintain health code standards.
• Handle guest checks and other related financial transactions (itemize bills correctly and efficiently secure payment).
• Bid farewell to guests, using the guest's name when known, and encourage them to return.
• Maintain a level of professionalism.
• Anticipate the guests' needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.
• Work as a team, assisting all guests' and employees' needs and inquiries.
• Be familiar with all Hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available on the restaurant/lounge floor.
• Maintain complete knowledge of designated glassware and garnishes for each drink.

Requirements:

• A highly motivated and energetic personality.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Candidates must be able to communicate in English fluently and in a professional manner, in written and oral form.
• Requires the ability to work efficiently and within a team environment.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or above.
• Possession of/or ability to possess a valid TAM and health card.
• Experience in bottle service preferred, but not required.
• Working knowledge of standard drink recipes.
• Understanding of classes of alcohol, different glasses, brand names, and garnishments.
• Working knowledge of bar equipment.
• Knowledge of education in mixology.
• Numeracy and cash-handling skills.
• Consistently deliver exceptional service to every guest while interacting and entertaining in a professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation in accordance with Clark County Health Standards.
• Handling cash and credit transactions at the point of sales.
• Ability to initiate and maintain an upbeat and relaxed environment on a consistent basis.
• Adhere to and enforce company-specific safety policies.
• Consistently maintain a well-groomed appearance, posture, and hygiene deemed by management.
• Maintain dialogue with all guests while upholding a warm, positive, and friendly persona at all times.
• Requires a minimum of 1-2 years work experience as a bartender in a high-volume restaurant, lounge, or nightclub.

Knowledge/Certificates:

• Exhibit proper knowledge, selling techniques, and service delivery of both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.

Education:

• High school diploma or above.

Language Abilities:

• Fluent spoken and written English.

Computer Skills:

• Proficient in POS software.

Social Media:

• Marketing, promoting, and modeling for restaurant/lounge specific events that endorse the venue & brand.
• Assist in the development of promotional plans in order to increase business levels and sales.
• Viral Communications is also included in promoting and marketing our venue.
• Social media platforms are also included in promoting and marketing our venues.
• Marketing Model Bartenders will adhere by the weekly Social Media/Marketing requirements during their scheduled shift:
• One Instagram post
• Instagram posts must have venue handle visible without engaging post.
• Three Instagram stories
• Must 'Like or Comment' all mandatory Delilah, Casa Playa, and Wynn Nightlife Facebook and Instagram posts (Encore Beach Club, XS, WynnNightLife)

Additional Requirements:

• Completed Bartenders Local 165 Joint Apprenticeship Training Program
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or over.
