Law Enforcement Specialist

As a Military Police Officer with the U.S. Army, you will play a critical role in maintaining law and order on Army installations. Your duties will include enforcing military laws and regulations, controlling traffic, preventing crime, and responding to emergencies.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct law enforcement patrols to maintain order and prevent crime
- Investigate crimes and gather evidence to bring perpetrators to justice
- Provide security and support to military personnel and their families
- Respond to emergencies and provide assistance as needed
To be eligible for this role, you must be able to pass a series of tests that assess your strengths and identify your best fit for an Army career. Once selected, you will undergo 20 weeks of training, which includes both classroom instruction and hands-on experience in police methods.
Training and Skills- Learn basic warrior skills and the safe use of firearms
- Understand military and civil laws, as well as jurisdiction
- Develop skills in investigating and collecting evidence
- Learn traffic and crowd control techniques
- Master arrest and restraint procedures
