Responsibilities
  • Submit accurate claims to insurance companies using appropriate codes (CPT, ICD-10)
  • Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for services rendered
  • Resolve claim denials, discrepancies, and follow up on outstanding claims
  • Collaborate with insurance companies, patients, and internal staff to ensure timely and correct billing
  • Post payments, adjustments, and handle billing inquiries from patients
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies, billing regulations, and compliance standards
  • Prepare and analyze billing reports as required
  • Enter all billing and payment information into the system properly and without errors
  • Follow up with clients and payments
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality in compliance with HIPPA
Qualifications
