Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate production activities to meet quality and productivity standards.
  • Lead and develop a team of production employees to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Implement and maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
  • Monitor and control production costs, including labor and materials.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and improve overall performance.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a production management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
