Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neuro Progressive Care Team at Baptist Medical Center South. This is a full-time night shift opportunity with three 12 hour shifts a week from 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care to patients requiring advanced treatment, including those with chronic medical conditions and minor injuries or illnesses.
- Embody the hospital's mission statement and uphold the highest standards of patient care.
- Educate patients and families about their disease process and plan of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other departments within the hospital to ensure seamless care.
- Act as a patient advocate and participate in staff meetings and unit activities.
- At least one year of hospital/medical surgical experience.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred.
