We are seeking a seasoned Senior Navy Mechanical Engineer to lead our team in Washington, DC.
About the RoleThis is a challenging opportunity to work on Unmanned Vehicle (UxV) designs, addressing technical issues and developing future requirements and acquisition documents. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical engineering with a strong background in systems acquisition programs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct review and analysis of UxV designs, addressing technical issues and developing future requirements and acquisition documents.
- Perform engineering analyses of customer mission and performance requirements to define UxV attributes in engineering terms.
- Review of engineering systems' technical data, engineering drawings, technical manuals, ILS data, and configuration baseline documentation to determine changes required to update requirements.
- 10+ years professional experience in mechanical engineering with a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- 15 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience related to R&D, T&E, and systems acquisition programs preferred.
- Interim Top-Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret.
- A competitive estimated salary range of $180,000 - $220,000 per annum.
