Job Title: Therapeutic Massage Instructor

Guilford Technical Community College is seeking a highly qualified Therapeutic Massage Instructor to join our team. As a Therapeutic Massage Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the Therapeutic Massage program.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach and mentor students in the Therapeutic Massage program
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of the program
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the program
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Current licensure as a massage therapist in the state of North Carolina
  • Experience teaching and mentoring students in a post-secondary setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Doctoral degree in a related field
  • Experience teaching online or hybrid courses
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment
  • Strong knowledge of industry trends and best practices
