About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Library Aide to join our team at the Alabama Department of Education.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide excellent support to library staff in maintaining a well-organized and welcoming environment for children and young adults.
  • To assist with daily tasks, including shelving books, processing new materials, and preparing programs and events.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Two years of study at an institution of higher education or a WorkKeys assessments certificate with a minimum score of Level 3 on Applied Math, Work Place Documents and Business Writing.
  • Successful experience working with children.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
