Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Optometrist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente's Franklin Medical Offices in Denver, Colorado. As an Optometrist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality eye care services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine patients with a range of visual problems, taking a thorough case history and reviewing medical records as needed.
  • Conduct comprehensive eye exams, using a variety of optometric instruments and techniques to diagnose visual deficiencies and prescribe corrective lenses.
  • Prescribe and fit contact lenses, as well as low-vision aids such as telescopic and microscopic lenses, magnifiers, and other optical devices.
  • Diagnose and treat ocular emergencies, prescribing medications as necessary.
  • Refer patients to other healthcare providers as needed for further evaluation and treatment.
  • Participate in departmental and educational meetings, including peer review activities.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited college of optometry with a Doctor of Optometry degree.
  • Optometrist License (Colorado) and Optometric TPA Certification (Colorado) required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent patient care.
