Key Responsibilities- Assist providers with clinical functions, including preparing patients for examination and treatment
- Collect and record vital signs, medical histories, and other patient information
- Administer injections and immunizations, and record them in our electronic health record system
- Prepare and maintain medical supplies and equipment, and ensure proper sterilization and calibration
- Assist with laboratory tests, including collecting and processing specimens
- Provide excellent customer service and communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in maintenance of clinical supplies and equipment, and perform other incidental and related duties as required
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
- Completion of MA certification program preferred
- One year experience in a healthcare setting
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software
