Job Title: Cath Lab Tech

Job Specialty: Cardiology / Radiology

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 40 hours per week

Experience: 2 years minimum required; first-time travelers accepted

License: WA Radiology License required

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, RCIS

Must-Have:

  • Scrub and circulate skills
  • Balloon angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left/right heart catheterization, Rotablader, Paracentesis, Hemodynamic Monitoring experience

Job Description:

  • Perform duties in a Level II Trauma Center
  • Work with a team completing 1220 cardiac cases per day
  • Handle a variety of procedural responsibilities including diagnostics, emergent, and intervention cardiac cases
  • Complete specific procedures such as Impella, Balloon Pump, CTO, Atherectomy, Structural Heart (TAVR, Watchman), PFO, CardiMEMS, EKOS, loop recorders, occasional pacemakers
  • Scrub, circulate, and monitor ECG with a preference for candidates with monitor and EKG skills
  • Participate in required weekend shifts and oncall duties approximately 57 days/month
  • Participate in the orientation for 40 hours
  • Adhere to hospital guidelines, including maintaining appropriate scrub color attire
  • Utilize EPIC for charting
  • Ensure all professional references are available, covering one year of employment within the last three years

Additional Information:


This role requires flexibility to work three out of five major holidays and may require floating to similar units within the facility.

A strong commitment to teamwork and patient care is essential.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech
  • WA Radiology License
  • BLS, ACLS, ARRT, RCIS certifications
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
