We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Golden Acorn Casino & Travel Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing purchasing strategies and business process improvements to reduce the overall cost of goods and services in our Convenience Store.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with excellent communication and analytical skills. They will be responsible for efficiently administering a consistent flow and supply of goods and merchandise, including tracking inventory and timely re-ordering.
The Procurement Specialist will also assist the Accounting Department in the timely and accurate evaluation of Food & Beverage inventory and support all aspects of Casino & Travel Center shipping and receiving operations.
Key Responsibilities- Implementing purchasing strategies and business process improvements to reduce costs
- Efficiently administering a consistent flow and supply of goods and merchandise
- Assisting the Accounting Department with inventory evaluation and shipping and receiving operations
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED
- 3-5 years equivalent experience in a multi-vendor, high volume retail setting
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office
