Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at The Mice Groups, Inc. in Fremont, CA. This is a 2-year Contract position with a competitive hourly rate of $50-65/hr.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for semiconductor equipment. This includes conceptualization, modeling, analysis, development, documentation, and test/validation of hardware.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for semiconductor equipment, including parts, components, and sub-assemblies.
  • Work with suppliers to ensure parts can be manufactured in accordance with performance and cost objectives.
  • Develop and execute test plans to characterize and validate the performance of designs.
  • Prepare reports and presentations of excellent quality to communicate design intent, analysis, and validation at design reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure high-quality, well-tested, and cost-optimized solutions for defined requirements.
  • Establish standards across all operational processes.
  • Prepare all required deliverables requested by product development plan.
Requirements:
  • Experience in the Semiconductor industry.
  • CAD (NX and Inventor) / knowledge of NX.
  • MATLAB and Simulink.
  • Material science knowledge.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
