Job Summary

At Diversified, we're seeking a skilled Audio-Visual Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for commissioning and troubleshooting AV systems at client sites. This role requires strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Commission AV systems at client sites to ensure optimal performance according to scope and design intent

• Perform programming and configuration loading and testing, debugging control systems with remote programmers

• Troubleshoot technical issues by tracing signal flow and engaging the appropriate parties to assist in resolving the issue

• Configure AV networks and coordinate client networks

• Create and modify DSP files for typical systems with an emphasis on AEC optimization for videoconferencing and coordinating control objects with programmers

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in the field of Audio-Visual installation/commissioning

• Ability to concisely, consistently, and appropriately communicate with the project team

• Ability to troubleshoot basic and complex AV and network systems

• Familiarity with MTR and Zoom Rooms Required

• AVIXA CTS Preferred

• Extron AV Associate Preferred

• Audinate Dante Level 1 Preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365

• Self-starter and requires little direct oversight to perform tasks

• AVIXA CTS-I

• Good customer service skills

• Field installation and/or system design experience

• Knowledge or familiarity with broadcast or hybrid conference-live event systems

• Ability to commission and troubleshoot using only a virtual connection to the system with onsite support

• Audinate Dante Level 2

• Biamp Tesira Server

• Q-Sys Level 2 and Control 201

• Extron Certified Control Professional

• Shure Integrated Systems Level 1

Physical Requirements

• Associate will spend most of the day on their feet moving around the jobsite. Must be able to occasionally lift at least 40lbs and be able to climb ladders and stairs. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth vision. Must be able to hear.

Travel

Frequent travel by car and occasional airplane trips are required. Employee must possess a valid driver's license in their state of residence. Local travel to job sites (within a 2-hour driving distance each way) will make up 70-90% usually but remote travel can be up to 30% of the job at times. 10% remote travel is required on a regular basis.
