**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling, analyzing, and processing all components required for payroll. This includes applying analytical thought to payroll situations and scenarios, providing support and troubleshooting payroll questions to market management and human resources, and compiling and recording employee time and payroll data.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Review time sheets, work charts, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
  • Analyze and improve current pay practices.
  • Verify and balance files, pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records.
  • Train new team members.
  • Process and issue employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions.
  • Support management and payroll with special functions/projects as needed.
  • Liaise with human resources, operations, and representatives of collective bargaining units.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred; three or more years of payroll experience in a multi-state environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) a plus.
  • Previous experience in the wine and spirits industry a plus.
  • WSET certifications a plus.
