About the Role

Constellation Energy is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the operation of our nuclear plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced engineering and technical tasks in support of nuclear plant operations.
  • Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects.
  • Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering activities related to plant safety, reliability, maintainability, and availability.
  • Ensure compliance with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies.
  • Provide technical expertise and consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
  • Manage engineering issues and recommend equipment, new concepts, and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design or material flaws, or comply with changes in codes or regulations.
  • Support plant design modifications, testing, and problem-solving.
  • Ensure all engineering products prepared or overseen are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate functional supervisory activities, including personnel, budgetary accountabilities, and planning goals.
Requirements
  • B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer and 5+ years of engineering experience for Senior Engineer level.
  • B.S. degree in engineering or licensed Professional Engineer and 10+ years of engineering experience and exceptional performance for Sr Staff Engineer level.
Preferred Qualifications

Professional Engineering Registration, advanced technical degree, or coursework.
