Diagnostic Radiologist Opportunity

Matrix Providers is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team of talented professionals. As a Diagnostic Radiologist, you will be responsible for interpreting special radiographic studies, including fluoroscopic procedures, radiographic procedures of the genitourinary tract, and musculoskeletal studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret the results of screening, indicated, or diagnostic mammograms, including needle localization of any masses found.
  • Evaluate, interpret, and report diagnostic imaging findings, for all four (4) NHCNE sites, within the following parameters: routine examinations and findings within 96 hours; STAT examinations and findings within 15 minutes; ASAP examinations and findings within two (2) hours; critical results findings within one (1) hour of discovery.
  • Read and interpret all A Read Chest X-Rays as required under the Asbestos Program.

Requirements:

  • Degree: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.).
  • Education: Graduate from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada.
  • Certification: Possess and maintain board certification in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology or by the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
  • BLS Required
  • Internship/Residency: Successful completion of an internship and residency program corresponding to the specialty required, which the Accreditation Council has approved for Graduate Medical Education or the Committee on Postdoctoral Training of the American Osteopathic Association.
  • Experience: Possess a minimum of three (3) years of clinical practice in a Diagnostic Radiology Department within the last four (4) years.
  • Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in State of Connecticut.
