Bagging Associate

About the Role:

As a Bagger at Winn-Dixie, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth and efficient shopping experience for customers. Your primary duties will include packing customer purchases, carrying or pushing groceries to the customer's car, and assisting customers with their queries. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to store standards and protocols. If you are a friendly and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills, this role may be suitable for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous attention to customer needs and respond to their queries in a prompt, courteous, and friendly manner.
• Pack customer purchases in a manner that prevents damage and ensures a safe shopping experience.
• Carry or push groceries in a shopping cart to the customer's car, maintaining a clean and organized workspace along the way.
• Check the price of merchandise in all departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements:

Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with multiple tasks and responsibilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to store standards and protocols. Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
