Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in enhancing students' communication skills and academic achievements in a school-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech and language capabilities, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans to address communication disorders and facilitate academic success, taking into account the unique needs of each student.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Deliver direct therapy services to students, focusing on articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic skills, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to support students' communication goals within the school environment, ensuring a cohesive and effective approach to student support.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain precise documentation of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of student progress.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and possess state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Certification: Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff, building positive relationships and a supportive learning environment.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not mandatory, as we are willing to train and develop the right candidate.
