We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Actalent. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality laboratory services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform various clinical laboratory test procedures and ensure proper maintenance and operation of instrumentation.
- Exercise professional judgment in the performance of laboratory procedures and provide patient care essential to laboratory procedures.
- Recognize patient conditions requiring immediate action and report to the provider.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the department supervisor/manager/director.
- ASCP Certified is REQUIRED.
- Degree in Microbiology preferred.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, chemistry, mathematics, hematology, and serology at a level normally acquired through completion of an approved two-year program.
- Successful completion of a supervised clinical internship.
- Professional judgment.
- Self-starter.
- Accountability.
This is a fully on-site position.
