Newscast Content Producer

About the Job
We are looking for a highly skilled Newscast Producer to join our team in El Paso, Texas. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the daily production of our newscasts. This includes determining the content and flow of newscasts, working with management and on-air staff to generate and write stories, and developing content for our website.

Responsibilities
As a Newscast Producer, you will be responsible for the following:

• Determining the content and flow of newscasts
• Working with management and on-air staff to generate and write stories
• Developing content for our website
• Collaborating with the Executive Producer, Director, Assignment Desk, and Anchors on the newscast and its content

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 2 years of experience in news producing at a commercial TV station. A Journalism degree is preferred. You should possess solid news judgment, be a compelling and accurate writer, and have creative thinking skills. Additionally, you must be able to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

Compensation
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $65,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
