Ultrasound Technologist

As a key member of our Radiology team at Ashe Memorial Hospital, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care through the use of ultrasound technology. Under the direction of our Radiologist, you will perform ultrasound scans with a high level of technical proficiency, ensuring accurate and timely results.
Responsibilities- Conduct ultrasound scans for patients referred to the department, utilizing your expertise to capture optimal images and ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Maintain the ultrasound room and equipment in a clean and organized manner, adhering to hospital standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with the Radiologist to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of ultrasound technology and its applications, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices.
- Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a positive experience for all individuals undergoing ultrasound procedures.
- Education: Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology training program, approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Experience: At least one year of experience in ultrasound technology, with a preference for those with ARRT registration and CPR certification.
