Job Summary

As a key member of our Radiology team at Ashe Memorial Hospital, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care through the use of ultrasound technology. Under the direction of our Radiologist, you will perform ultrasound scans with a high level of technical proficiency, ensuring accurate and timely results.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct ultrasound scans for patients referred to the department, utilizing your expertise to capture optimal images and ensure accurate diagnoses.
  2. Maintain the ultrasound room and equipment in a clean and organized manner, adhering to hospital standards and protocols.
  3. Collaborate with the Radiologist to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  4. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of ultrasound technology and its applications, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices.
  5. Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a positive experience for all individuals undergoing ultrasound procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology training program, approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in ultrasound technology, with a preference for those with ARRT registration and CPR certification.
