Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the general ledger by recording financial transactions and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee the full accounts payable and receivable cycle, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliation.
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to verify all transactions are accurate and accounted for.
- Assist with document preparation and ensure compliance with government and grant requirements.
- Contribute to budget preparation, financial forecasting, and analysis as needed.
- Reconcile and close assigned accounts properly at month-end and year-end.
- Support ad-hoc financial tasks and reporting as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive financial information.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred but not required.
Salary: $25.00-$32.00/hour DOE
