Accounting Role

Join the Greenville Chamber of Commerce team as a Part-Time Bookkeeper In this exciting role, you'll manage our accounting and financial record-keeping duties, focusing on accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and internal reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the general ledger by recording financial transactions and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Oversee the full accounts payable and receivable cycle, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliation.
  • Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to verify all transactions are accurate and accounted for.
  • Assist with document preparation and ensure compliance with government and grant requirements.
  • Contribute to budget preparation, financial forecasting, and analysis as needed.
  • Reconcile and close assigned accounts properly at month-end and year-end.
  • Support ad-hoc financial tasks and reporting as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive financial information.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred but not required.

Salary: $25.00-$32.00/hour DOE
