Position Overview:
This role involves providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on patients requiring telemetry monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with cardiac and respiratory conditions.
- Monitor vital signs and interpret telemetry data effectively.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV therapies.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in patient care.
Position Requirements:
- Active nursing license in the state of employment.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or critical care setting.
- Proficiency in reading telemetry strips and managing complex patient needs.
- Experience with ventilators, tracheostomy care, and cardiac monitoring.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Work Schedule:
- 12-hour night shifts, with a commitment of 48 hours per week.
