Job SummaryBelFlex Staffing is seeking a skilled Chemical Operator to join their team in the triad area. As a key member of the production team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of chemical products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical processing and a proven track record of maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. They will be responsible for measuring, batching, and quality inspecting chemical products, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare batches in an efficient and safe manner
  • Operate equipment safely and effectively
  • Follow thorough mixing procedures and directions for blending and processing of raw materials
  • Recommend changes to procedures and equipment to improve quality, safety, and efficiency
  • Observe all safety rules and use PPE equipment as specified
  • Assist QA department with quality assurance requirements
  • Perform daily and weekly batching area clean-up procedures
  • Conduct periodic chemical inventories
  • Organize and consolidate incoming chemical shipments
Requirements:
  • General mechanical aptitude
  • At least 2 years of experience in blending
  • Ability to read and comprehend work orders and batching instructions
  • General math skills
