Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team at Allegiance Crane & Equipment in Beaumont, TX.

This is a full-time position that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely transport cranes and equipment to job sites using a tractor-trailer.
  • Properly secure equipment to the trailer for transportation.
  • Utilize proper rigging techniques to ensure safe lifting of loads, including hand signals for crane operation.
  • Connect pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures using bolts, shackles, and clamps.
  • Dismantle, maintain, and store rigging equipment.
  • Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability before engaging in hoisting and lifting.
Requirements
  • NCCCO or NCCER certification is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • A Class A CDL is required to drive commercial vehicles.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles.
  • Minimum 1 year of prior experience rigging cranes or similar equipment.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • Professional communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to read and speak English well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and safety training.
Physical Demands

This position requires regular sitting, standing, reaching, bending, stooping, climbing, and moving about the shop and equipment. Heavy physical effort is required, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds is necessary. The position will also require regular exposure to noise, heat, dust, and fumes around job sites and the yard. Extreme weather conditions may be possible at times.
