The Music Educator at School of Rock is responsible for guiding students through their musical journey, from classic rock to contemporary hits. The instructor creates a safe and inspiring atmosphere that encourages students to reach their musical and creative potential. Key responsibilities include:
Music Instruction:- Deliver high-quality one-on-one lessons and facilitate group rehearsals
- Ensure students grasp the fundamentals of music beyond just playing songs
- Develop personalized lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain documentation of lesson notes
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress
- Be visible and accessible within the school community
- Assist with program execution during lesson cancellations
- Support rehearsals and maintain the school environment
- Adhere to the school's code of conduct and safety policies
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in teaching or performing music
- Strong knowledge of music theory
