Assistant Professor, Advanced Cardiac Imaging Specialist

Position Overview:
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly skilled and accomplished Assistant Professor to join our team in the field of Advanced Cardiac Imaging. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented professional to contribute to the growth and expansion of our health system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advanced cardiac imaging programs and services to support the health system's growth and expansion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement clinical trials and research studies related to cardiac imaging.
- Provide expert clinical and research guidance to fellows and residents in the advanced cardiac imaging fellowship program.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and stakeholders to promote the use of advanced cardiac imaging services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiac imaging and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- MD degree and eligibility for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases preferred.
- Level III training in echocardiography and experience with other imaging modalities such as cardiac CT/MR and nuclear.
- Strong clinical and research experience in cardiac imaging.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong commitment to clinical research and/or teaching.
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
