About the Role

Salem Hospital, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and accurate operation of our MRI scanner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Under the supervision of the MRI Site Supervisor and/or MRI Operations Manager, perform a variety of duties necessary for the smooth operation of the MRI scanner and patient schedule.
  • Utilize technical skills and training to ensure the safe and accurate operation of the MRI scanner.
  • Work in a healthcare setting, demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Operate the MRI scanner, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that patients receive high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Must have a strong background in medical imaging, with experience in an MRI setting preferred.
  • Must have a Certificate/Diploma in Medical Imaging, with an Associate's Degree in Medical Imaging preferred.
  • Must be registered as an MRI Technologist with the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) within one year of hire.
  • Must have basic computer skills, including knowledge of the Center's Outlook electronic communication system.
  • Must have experience with PACS systems.
