Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team in Bronx, New York.

As a School Psychologist, you will provide psychological services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and referral. You will conduct individual and group therapy sessions, as well as perform crisis intervention as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral strengths and challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' academic and social success
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to students in need

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates must possess a N.Y.S. license and completion of APA accredited training program. Psychology candidates should be adept at working in an environment that encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and teamwork to enable patient care with a desire to work in a mission-driven environment to make a strong positive community impact.
