Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is essential.

Must meet the legal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages and successfully complete responsible serving training as mandated.

Ability to obtain and present a Food Handlers card as required by local regulations.

Quick and accurate decision-making skills are necessary.

Capability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

Familiarity with hotel offerings and guest services is advantageous.


A positive demeanor and eagerness to assist others are vital, as evidenced by a willingness to learn new skills, support team members, and engage with guests and colleagues in a friendly manner.

Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette is required.


Proficiency in crafting high-quality beverages, including specialty coffee, tea, and cocktails, as needed by the hotel.

Ability to perform basic mathematical operations such as counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Competence in reading, comprehending, and writing simple instructions and brief correspondence.

Effective communication skills to interact with both internal and external customers, some of whom may require patience and diplomacy.

Engage with guests and team members in a friendly, attentive, and service-oriented manner.


Maintain consistent attendance in accordance with the hotel's standards, adapting to scheduling needs.

Uphold high standards of personal grooming and appearance, including wearing the designated uniform and name tag while on duty.

Adhere to all hotel standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient operations.

Provide guests with all food and beverage needs in a warm, friendly, and professional manner; identify services that could enhance their experience.

Welcome and seat guests promptly at appropriate tables.

Ensure cleanliness and presentation of menus.

Clear, clean, and reset tables and other areas as per client requests or management directives.

Maintain organization and cleanliness in food and service areas, ensuring all side work is completed during each shift.

Accommodate special requests from guests or suggest suitable alternatives.

Communicate with various departments regarding in-house VIPs and any special needs.

Assist in all aspects of food and beverage service as necessary, including washing dishes, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in work areas.

Answer the phone in accordance with established standards.

Possess a comprehensive understanding of room service order standards.

Have thorough knowledge of menus and current specials across all relevant departments.

Carry out cashiering duties, including closing checks and completing end-of-shift paperwork.

Execute opening and closing procedures and side work duties as assigned.

Respond to inquiries about the hotel, brand standards, guest expectations, and local attractions.

Perform additional duties or attend meetings as requested by management.
