Position Overview

SVCG, LLC is in search of a committed WPS Program Implementation Consultant to enhance our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in aiding the program lead to weave Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) initiatives into diverse operational areas. This position encompasses supporting the assimilation of WPS principles in alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) standards, formulating strategies for security collaboration with allied nations, and orchestrating international engagements pertinent to WPS.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist the program lead in executing WPS directives within joint cyber operations
  • Support the integration of WPS principles in accordance with DoD regulations
  • Craft strategies for embedding WPS into security collaboration initiatives
  • Coordinate international travel for WPS-related engagements
  • Promote the incorporation of WPS initiatives in command operations with partner nations

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in project performance assessment
  • Experience in defense operations or policy evaluation
  • Eligibility to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Familiarity with WPS principles and gender equality frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background as a Gender Advisor within DoD entities
  • Strong organizational and communication capabilities
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Completion of Joint Staff-certified training in Operationalizing WPS

Security Clearance:

TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph is mandatory.
