We are seeking a part-time Thrift Store Clerk/Sorter to assist in creating a pleasant and hospitable work environment while maintaining outstanding customer relationships. The successful candidate will assist with all store operations, including stocking, cleaning, and general maintenance of store merchandise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily store operations, including stocking, cleaning, and general maintenance of store merchandise.
  • Greet and serve all customers in a courteous, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Be aware of sales/promotions and comply with thrift store and donation center operations.
  • Adhere to all Salvation Army store policies and safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimally 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Retail sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work varying shifts to include Saturdays.
  • Ability to multi-task and lift 30 pounds.
  • Working knowledge of basic computer operations and ability to efficiently learn new applications.
