Key Responsibilities:- Strategically manage warehouse operations to ensure compliance with company policies and vision
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations to ensure seamless execution
- Develop and implement efficient space utilization strategies to maximize storage capacity
- Establish and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures to drive productivity and quality
- Ensure adherence to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the warehouse
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Prepare and manage annual budgets to ensure effective resource allocation
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure smooth logistics operations
- Plan and assign tasks, appraise results, and motivate employees to achieve excellence
- Recruit, select, orient, coach, and motivate employees to build a high-performing team
- Produce regular reports and statistics to monitor warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a related role
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and productivity
- Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Leadership skills and ability to manage staff effectively
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills to drive results
- Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- BS degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration preferred or equivalent experience
Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable. Previous experience is a plus. Please provide a cover letter outlining work experience.

- FT Benefits (40 hours per week)
- 90% employer-paid medical, dental, sick, vacation, long and short-term disability, life insurance, vision, dental available the first of the month after 60 days of employment

- Vacation time after one year of employment beginning with 2 weeks per year accrual
