**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Coater to join our team at Brown & Root Industrial Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray machines.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Prepare surfaces to receive coatings by cleaning dirt, oil, and grease from the surfaces to be covered
* Remove old paint and wall coverings, fill and smooth over cracks and holes
* Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
* Know what materials were used to make the paint and which types of paints are required for different materials

**Requirements:**

* Experience in painting and coating
* Knowledge of surface preparation and coating application
* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
* Physical stamina to perform manual labor
