This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled Echocardiogram Technician to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography on all patient populations, as appropriate.
- Be competent with specialized echocardiography procedures, such as stress echocardiography.
- Maintain accurate records that reflect patient care.
- Assist in performing cardiopulmonary procedures, such as EKGs.
- Use communication and available resources to promote quality and cost-efficient patient care.
- A.D. or higher in Respiratory Therapy, Cardiopulmonary Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on training and attendance at a formal training seminar for echocardiography.
- ARDS or CCI Echo Credential required.
