Job Summary

MountainView Hospital is seeking an experienced Radiology Technician Lead to join our team. This role will provide leadership and supervision of all employees and students in the diagnostic section, ensuring high-quality patient care.

About the Job

This position requires a strong understanding of medical ethics and a commitment to providing excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience in radiographic procedures and be able to exercise professional judgment in their work.

Responsibilities

  • Provide health care services applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
  • Perform radiographic procedures producing images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
  • Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor that reflects a high standard of medical ethics.
  • Recognize conditions essential for the successful completion of procedures.
  • Provide leadership and supervision of all employees and students in the diagnostic section.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate from an accredited Radiology school.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.
  • Registry eligible with ARRT and within six months become registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • State of Nevada Licensure.
  • 1 year of experience preferred.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $31.79 - $47.72 per hour.
