We have an exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at GSS IA Ottumwa located in Ottumwa, IA.

This role offers a competitive salary of $31.00 - $49.50 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for administering speech and language evaluations, tests, or examinations to diagnose and plan treatments for clients/patients/residents with various speech problems and swallowing disorders. You will assess clients/patients/residents with various speech, language, cognitive or swallowing problems and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical diagnoses.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing speech and language services to clients/patients/residents; monitoring disease progression and adjusting treatments accordingly.
  • Instructing clients/patients/residents in practicing speech and language therapeutic exercises; providing consultation for clients/patients/residents working through speech and language treatment processes.
  • Ensuring all speech and language related standards, policies, protocols, and quality requirements are met.


To be successful in this role, you must hold a valid license in the state(s) of practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist. A Certificate of Clinical Competence issued by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) or currently working on Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is preferred.
