About the Role

We are looking for a Florida-licensed MRI Technologist on a PRN basis who will perform procedures in a compassionate and respectful manner. Our facility is a Level II Trauma Center, which requires availability for rotating call assignments.


Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of MRI equipment to obtain high-quality images, ensuring only optimal films are submitted for interpretation.
  • Facilitate procedures by selecting proper technical factors and techniques to accommodate all patients, and prepare and administer contrast material as ordered.
  • Prepare, transfer, and position patients safely, ensuring modesty and utilizing auxiliary equipment as needed.
  • Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exams, obtain informed consent, and complete required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time.
  • Monitor equipment operation, maintain cleanliness of tables and equipment, and keep rooms stocked with necessary supplies.

Requirements
  • Florida licensure as an MRI Technologist.
  • Strong organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relation, mathematical, analytical, grammar, spelling, computer, and clerical skills.
