Job Summary

Sonny's BBQ is seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a Point of Sale system, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch customer service to ensure a positive dining experience for our guests.
  • Operate a Point of Sale system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the cash handling area and dining area.
  • Restock supplies and maintain inventory levels as needed.
  • Assist with catering orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced food service environment preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a Point of Sale system.
Work Environment

Sonny's BBQ is a fast-paced environment that requires constant human interaction and movement. Cashiers must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time and handle products, cash, and transactions efficiently.
